Abstract Expressionism

This series explores abstraction through movement, contrast, and emotional intensity. Sweeping gestural forms intersect with fragmented geometry and luminous color fields, creating compositions that feel both constructed and instinctive. The works move between control and release, where heavy black arcs, layered textures, and saturated passages of blue, gold, crimson, and turquoise generate a sense of rhythm, tension, and transformation. Rather than depicting a fixed reality, the paintings evoke emotional states and energetic encounters, inviting viewers to experience the work physically and psychologically.

Drawing from traditions of Abstract Expressionism, Lyrical Abstraction, Geometric Modernism, and Symbolism, the series balances spontaneity with formal structure. The compositions suggest fragments of memory, movement, architecture, and internal landscapes without fully resolving into representation. Through gesture, repetition, and chromatic contrast, the work creates an atmosphere that feels simultaneously meditative and dynamic, suspended between fragmentation and cohesion.
