Remnants of Identity

This series explores the fragile space between protection and erasure. The images are sculptural and almost archaeological, as if they have been excavated from some emotional strata rather than simply depicted. They are less like paintings and more like fragments of memory hardened into objects.

Across the series, the figures are bound, wrapped and partially erased. Their identities are stripped down to silhouettes, gestures, and proximity of one another. The bodies lean into each other, clutch each other, or gather together in tight formations. These figures exist in a space where protection and suppression have become indistinguishable. These are not portraits of individuals. They are the remnants of identities that cannot fully be erased.
